Bubblicious 7.9

This is a very creative abstract image with nice, vibrant colors which fade nicely into the background because of your effective depth of field. Looking at the composition, you may consider cropping in significantly from the right. For me, the left side is the area of interest and I am not sure the larger blurred area on the right ads much to your image.

Dumping Dishwater 8.5

Such an unusual shot which is handled well. The rich blue in the sky fading to yellow is very appealing and does not distract from your subjects.  You must have had a fast shutter speed to capture the water with such clarity. The silhouette of the man has very sharp edges; even his glasses are in focus.

Early Morning Dew 5

Its always nice to have dew drops on petals. Your flower has reasonable focus and nice color saturation. I find the background a little distracting. The brightest areas in a photo tend to draw the eye there. In this image, my eye is drawn to the light sky at the top, leading my attention up and out of the frame. I think the image could be stronger if you cropped in so the flower filled the frame or the background was made darker.

Embraced by Water 7.9

For me, this photo is all about the graceful curves and swirls. The composition is strong and the colors are very appealing against the dark water, Congratulations in finding the art appeal in a scene most others would walk by without noticing.

Glacial Splash 5

This certainly fits the wet them! I like that there is still some detail in the water which, for me, represents the power of the waterfall. Overall, the image seems too dark. You may want to open the shadows to show some detail.

Grate Bug 8

Very creative high key graphic image. The bug is placed nicely in the frame to make a good composition. For me, the high contrast along with your pure white and pure black make this a very nice monochrome. Good eye!

Mountains in the Mist 4

The mist is damp and so this may qualify for something wet, however, for me it is not a strong representation of your theme. The panoramic crop works well with your subject. For me, the contrast is too strong, causing you to lose detail.

Once Special 10

I love everything about this image including the rust and peeling paint. Your focus is tack sharp and the water droplets add interest. I wouldn’t change a thing. Excellent job!

Painted Bunting Bathing 10

This image has impact with its colors that are vibrant without being over saturated. You have a nice catchlight in the bird’s eye. Your focus is good. I like the reflections in the water and the bubble by his tail feathers. The panoramic crop works well here. Nice job!

Piciscure 7

An interesting and very unusual shot. You have reasonable focus and nice “layers” in this image.I would suggest cloning out the sticker on the tank. Since it is the brightest area in the frame, my eye is drawn there as a distraction to your intended focus. Also, I would suggest that you crop in from the left so that it matches the crop on the right.

Riding a Board 10

You did a wonderful job capturing the water with such clarity.  The lighting is excellent.  The surfer’s legs are in focus and placed well in the frame as a focal point to rest my eye. The colors of the board and water are appealing.  This is a great shot and an excellent representation of the theme. Well done!

The Desert Drinks 9.5

First of all; great title! Your rich colors give this image impact. I like your tight crop. Your focus is excellent. I have no suggestions for improvement. Well handled.

Wet One for 110 Today 7

A very creative interpretation for the theme. Your subject stands out nicely from the background and the focus on the subject is good. You may want to clone some of the dark foliage to the white, blown out areas to the left of the bottle neck to keep the viewer’s eye from being drawn there. You may also want to crop in from the right so the bottle is not so centered, making a stronger composition.
