BASIC LEVEL ENTRIES

: 1st – 9.0 – Looks tack sharp with perfect lighting; great composition w/boat in front of Parliament; colorful

: 2nd – 8.0 – Unique; Beautiful rainbow over lovely canyon; well composed w/good foreground

: 5.0 – Good photo of the hangar but doesn’t meet travel criteria

: 6.0 – Sharp details in valley; a bit dark; formations could use lightening.

: 4.0 – Interesting overview – seems like reflection from window; needs more contrast and sharpness

: 2.0 – Not a travel image – good, sharp colorful photo though

ADVANCED LEVEL ENTRIES

: 1st – 10,0 – Heartwarming photo of caring girls in Africa; very sharp, well composed; background soft; front sharp.

: 2nd – 9.0 – Lit by moonlight; must have been clear nite w/stars shining brightly. A lot of detail on bldg shows. Well done

: 3rd – 8.0 – Great composition w/tree overhanging bldg which identifies itself. Good lighting/sharp.

: 7.5 – Colorful photo of bugs w/pretty lovely sky; has depth

: 6.0 – Shopkeeper in Africa showing her wares is well composed; busy photo but meets category well

: 6.0 – Colorful photo; good sky. Composition good; Not sure meets travel criteria becuz no differentiating characteristics but good photo..

MASTER’S LEVEL ENTRIES

: 1st – 10.0 – Excellent landscape and very sharp. Great detail on ice and station.

: 2nd – 8.0 – Excellent composition w/sharpness, color, great sky. White rock forms leading line; not strong sense of place

: 3rd – 8.0 – Perfect symmetry w/sidewalk forming leading line; crisp with good detail and good composition

: HM – 8.0 – Interesting view thru intentionally soft foreground; Focus on statues of generals; Gothic windows in background sharp

: 7.0 – Sharp image of iceberg details – penguins hard to see but sharp.

: 7.0 – Good foreground of wheat with threatening interesting sky. Suggest cropping right side to remove object in photo

: 6.0 – Photo of sign is sharp and colorful; not sure meets criteria but lovely image.

: 6.0 – Looks like beautiful tower but feel tower is skewed slightly to right distracting; good sky.

: 5.0 – Colorful and sharp beach scene/might be better cropped to have chair on 1/3 pt .weak sense of place

: 5.0 – Looks like cloudy day in Antarctica; Mtns and iceberg look vast; a bit flat.

: 3.0 – Foreground in focus; glacier in background is not sharp.

: 2.0 – May be creative but nothing about image shows travel; ape has strong halo
